Victoria’s Royal Colwood GC will play host to some of the top amateurs in the world in late July…
The 110th Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship will go at one of the more storied courses in the province from July 29 to August 2, 2024.
The tournament will attract many top playesrs.
The winner will earn an exemption into the LPGA CPKC Canadian Women's Open in 2025 and an exemption into the 2024 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship this August. Last year’s champion Lauren Kim from BC also earned an invitation into the pretigious Augusta National Women's Amateur.
Currently more than 140 players from all ten provinces and more a dozen U.S. states have put their entries in to compete.
Royal Colwood has played host to a number of national championships over its 111 year history The Club also played host to one of the premier women's team events in the world, The Astor Cup in 2019. The players in the event raved about the quality of the course. See story HERE
